Our consulting is for everyone responsible for protecting a site, a facility or people. For everyone who wants to know what they may do when a drone appears, and who needs fixed procedures for it. We describe six groups separately.
Private security providers
Guards are usually the first to notice a drone over a site. For that they need clear instructions.
Police, fire services and prisons
Authorities have been introducing drone and detection programs since 2025. What is usually missing is experience from live operation.
In-house security and industry
Industrial sites have approach routes, shift changes, loading zones and information worth protecting. For the airspace, in-house security usually has no procedure.
Critical infrastructure and energy
Substations, power plants, waterworks and control centres count as critical infrastructure. In Germany they fall under the KRITIS umbrella act, in force since March 2026. The requirements for dealing with drones are still taking shape.
Municipalities, hospitals and event organisers
Event grounds, hospital campuses and public buildings are open and unfenced. Defence against drones is the job of the police. Even so, it must be settled what the public order office, the security provider and the staff do until the police arrive.
SMEs and development
Ukrainian manufacturers are looking for German partners. In demand are companies in optics, sensors, electronics, radio and fibre composites. The German government funds this cooperation.
