The situation. Ukrainian drone manufacturers have been looking for producers, suppliers and development partners in Europe since 2026. The German government funds German-Ukrainian industrial cooperation, mainly under the "Build with Ukraine" program. Those programs target defence production, our introductions stay separate from that and strictly civilian. The manufacturing locations so far are in the Munich area. Companies in Thuringia and Saxony have the capabilities, but they lack the contacts. On top of that, the legal requirements are unclear to many.
Services. Contacts with Ukrainian manufacturers we know personally and have visited on site. Legal vetting of every project by a lawyer for foreign trade law, before the first contact. Support with conversations, visits, tests and funding applications. Networking, for example through the DEFENSE network Thuringia.
